Washer Solvent Container Level Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Front Liner) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Rear Liner) .
  3. Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the level sensor indicator.
  5. Using two flat-bladed tools, gently pry the level sensor indicator from the washer container.
  6. Discard the grommet.

Tip:  Replace and lubricate the new grommet with pure windshield washer solvent fluid prior to installing the new level indicator into the container.
