Washer Solvent Container Level Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Front Liner) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Rear Liner) . Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container. Disconnect the electrical connector from the level sensor indicator. Using two flat-bladed tools, gently pry the level sensor indicator from the washer container. Discard the grommet.
1	Windshield Washer Level Sensor Indicator Tip: Replace and lubricate the new grommet with pure windshield washer solvent fluid prior to installing the new level indicator into the container.

Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the level sensor indicator.
Using two flat-bladed tools, gently pry the level sensor indicator from the washer container.
Discard the grommet.

Tip: Replace and lubricate the new grommet with pure windshield washer solvent fluid prior to installing the new level indicator into the container.
