Installation Procedure

  1. Install the yaw rate sensor (1) to the console bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the nuts (2) retaining the yaw rate sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the yaw rate sensor.
  5. Install the front floor console reinforcement. Refer to Bracket, Reinforcement, Side Trim Panel Replacement - Front Floor Console in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
