Quarter Window Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the courtesy lamp lens.
2. Remove the overhead console screw.
3. Grasp the overhead console and pull downward in order to disengage the fasteners.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the overhead console.




5. Remove the power quarter window/multi-function switch (5) by using pliers in order to compress the retainers while pulling the switch away from the housing.

Installation Procedure




1. Snap the power quarter window/multi-function switch (5) into the opening in the overhead console.




2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Align the overhead console within the vehicle.
4. Press up on the overhead console engaging the fasteners in order to secure the console to the vehicle.

Notice: refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Install the overhead console screw.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Install the courtesy lamp lens by pressing into the console until secure.
