Inspect and clean the thread and the sealing surface of the rail.
Inspect and clean the thread and rail pressure sensor (1).
Lubricate thread and bite edge (2) of the rail pressure sensor using lubricant Ft1v27, only apply a thin lubrication film.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the rail pressure sensor to the common rail.
Tighten: Tighten the rail pressure sensor to 70 N.m (51.6 lb ft) .
Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
If you replaced the pressure sensor with a new one, reset the zero fuel correction values using a scan tool.
