Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipes. Refer to Fuel Injector Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement .
- Remove the injector return hoses. Refer to Fuel Return Pipe Replacement .
- Disconnect the injector connector.
- Remove the injector bracket plug.
- Unscrew the injector bracket bolt.
- Pull the injector bracket out from the injector using by the bolt manually.
- Remove the injectors with the washer upward.
- If the injectors stick to the cylinder head, use EN-48357 . See Special Tools .
CAUTION:
Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.

IMPORTANT:
Number the injectors using a pen. If mixed up, it could influence engine performance.
