Installation Procedure

  1. Insert head of the sensor mounting stud into the key hole.
  2. Slide the sensor upward until the anti-rotation tab engages in the lower hole.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Tighten the sensor mounting nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the sensor link on the ball stud.
  6. Connect the height sensor connector.
  7. Install the wheel on the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  8. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  9. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
