WARNING: In order to avoid being burned, do not service the exhaust system while it is still hot. Service the system when it is cool. Preliminary Procedure: Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect electrical connector. After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup (LUW, LUJ) . If reusing the heated oxygen sensor, coat the thread with assembly paste. Tighten: 42 N.m(31 lb ft) Special Tools: EN-48259: Installer/Remover For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools

Heated Oxygen Sensor 2

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Disconnect electrical connector.
After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup (LUW, LUJ) .
If reusing the heated oxygen sensor, coat the thread with assembly paste.

Tighten: 42 N.m(31 lb ft)
