Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 2

Callout Component Name
WARNING: In order to avoid being burned, do not service the exhaust system while it is still hot. Service the system when it is cool.
Preliminary Procedure: Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Heated Oxygen Sensor 2
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connector.
  2. After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup (LUW, LUJ) .
  3. If reusing the heated oxygen sensor, coat the thread with assembly paste.

Tighten:  42 N.m(31 lb ft)
