Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying CKP Sensor

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor.
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector (4).
  5. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement .
