Removal Procedure

  1. Position the steering column in the most upwards position possible.
  2. Disconnect the electronic power steering motor control module electrical connectors.
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Electronic Power Steering Motor Control Module Bracket Bolts

  4. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolts (1).
  5. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket together from the vehicle.

  7. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bolts (1).
  8. Separate the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket (2).
