Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

If any of the following components are replaced, the CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 3.5L engine or Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 3.9L engine.

• Engine replacement
• Any engine repair that disturbs the CKP sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
• CKP sensor

If the throttle body is replaced or a throttle body cleaning procedure is completed, the Throttle/Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn for the 3.5L engine or Throttle/Idle Learn for the 3.9L engine.
