Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Wheel Speed Sensor & Bolt

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor assembly to the suspension knuckle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Release the wheel speed sensor wire harness retainers (1) from the rear suspension tie bar.
  4. Release the wheel speed sensor wire harness from the vehicle underbody (2).

  5. Connect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).
  6. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2) .
