Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front impact sensor electrical connections (1).
  2. NOTE:

    Locating lugs will hold the NEW sensors in place.

  3. Install the NEW front impact sensors (2) to the front end module (3).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the right front impact sensor to front end module retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    NOTE:

    The radiator top mounts can be taken off and the radiator lent back to aid in installation.

  7. Install the left front impact sensor to front end module retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  8. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
