Replace these parts if necessary: The seat cushion frame The seat recliner, if equipped The seat adjuster The seat back frame Failure to do so may cause future personal injury. Preliminary Procedures: Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 7.5 N.m (66 lb in)
2	Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Procedure Disconnect electrical connector. Loosen the bolt and slide the sensor out of the keyhole slot. Tip: The bolt is integral to the sensor assembly, DO NOT remove separately.

Disconnect electrical connector.
