- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at both of the P22 seatback video displays.
- Ignition OFF, scan tool disconnected, open driver door, wait two minutes. Test for less than 1 Ω between the infrared remote signal (-) circuits terminal 13 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the signal (-) circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the A11 radio.
- Ignition ON, DVD playing, test for 1-4 V between the infrared remote signal (+) circuit terminal 12 and ground.
- If less than specified range, test the signal (+) circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the A11 radio.
- If greater than specified range, test the signal (+) circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the A11 radio.
- Ignition OFF, reconnect the harness connector at the P22E driver seatback video display.
- Ignition ON, DVD playing, test for 1-4 V between the infrared remote signal (+) circuit terminal 12 and ground at the P22F passenger seatback video display.
- If not within the specified range, replace the P22E driver seatback video display.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the P22F passenger seatback video display.
