Circuit/System Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 GMC Acadia, 2013 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2013 Buick Enclave. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Reference voltage is supplied to the memory seat adjuster switch from the driver door lock/window switch. When a memory switch is pressed, reference voltage is applied through the switch contacts, a series of resistors and thorough the memory switch signal circuit to the door lock/window switch. The door lock/window switch then sends a serial data message to the memory seat module (MSM) indicating the memory recall request. The MSM then commands the appropriate seat motors to move to the pre-recorded seat positions stored in memory in response to the switch input.
