Heater Core Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly.





2. Remove the heater core cover screws (2).

3. Remove the heater core cover.





4. Remove the heater core (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the heater core (4).





2. Install the heater core cover.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the heater core cover screws (1) and tighten to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).

4. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly.
