Preliminary Procedures
- Open the hood.
- Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
- Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
- Remove the wiper system module. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .

Tighten
4.5 N.m (40 lb in) |

Wiper Motor
- Use the J 39232
Wiper Linkage Separator or equivalent to remove the wiper transmission arm from the crank arm ball socket.
- Use the J 39529
Wiper Linkage Installer or equivalent to install the wiper transmission arm to the crank arm ball socket.
