Engine Speed Power Take-Off Control Module Replacement

Engine Speed Power Take-Off Control Module Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Disconnect the harness connector.
1 Power Take Off (PTO) Module Bolt (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Loosen the three PTO module fasteners (1).
  2. Lift the module (2) up and off the bracket.
  3. Bolt heads should pass through the holes in the bracket.
  4. Position the PTO module so that the fasteners engage the narrow slots in the bracket before tightening the outer fasteners.

TIP:  It is not necessary to fully remove the PTO module fasteners from the module except when transferring the fasteners to a new module.
Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 PTO Module

Procedure

  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the PTO module.
  • New PTO module must be programed. Refer to Control Module References .
