Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery, Junction Block & Bolt

  1. Install the battery (3) to the battery tray floor.
  2. Install the battery positive cable with junction block (2) to the battery (3).

  3. Install the battery retainer (2).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Tighten the battery retainer bolt (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
