WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning . Preliminary Procedure Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement . Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1	Theft Deterrent Module Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 3 (27 lb in)
2	Theft Deterrent Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Carefully unclip the bracket from ignition key housing.

Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
