Installation Procedure

  1. Position the lower control arm (1) in the vehicle.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the rear lower control arm to cradle bolts and nuts (1) and tighten to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

  5. Install the front lower control arm bushing brackets (2) and the front lower control arm to cradle bolts (1) and tighten to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

  7. Install the lower control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle.
  8. Install the lower control arm ball joint to steering knuckle retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).
  9. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  10. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
