Preliminary Procedures Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement . Remove the steering column shroud. Refer to Steering Column Shroud Replacement .
1	Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as necessary. Transfer the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Replacement . Ensure the coil is centered during installation. If you are installing a NEW coil, remove the centering tab AFTER the coil is on the steering column. Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as necessary.
Transfer the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Replacement .
Ensure the coil is centered during installation. If you are installing a NEW coil, remove the centering tab AFTER the coil is on the steering column. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Centering .
