Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuel Injection Pump Bracket Bolt And Fuel Injection Pump Bracket

  1. Install the fuel injection pump bracket (2).
  2. Loosely install the fuel injection pump bracket bolt (1).
  3. Raise the vehicle.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 6 fuel injection pump bracket bolts (2) and tighten:
    • Tighten the M8 bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
    • Tighten the M10 bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  5. Install the wiring harness retainer clip (1).
  6. Install the fuel injection pump driven sprocket. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Driven Sprocket Replacement .
  7. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (2.0L Diesel LUZ) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Tighten the fuel injection pump bracket bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  10. Install the fuel injection pump. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Replacement .
