Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuel Injection Pump Driven Sprocket And Fuel Injection Pump Shaft

  1. Install the fuel injection pump driven sprocket (2).

    Position the fuel injection pump driven sprocket (2) in order that the key on the fuel injection pump shaft (1) fits to the groove (see arrow in picture).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the fuel injection pump driven sprocket nut and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) use EN-6347  holder (1) in conjunction with EN-956-1  extension (2) to hold up the fuel injection pump driven sprocket (3).
  3. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
  4. Close the hood.
