Fuel Injector Timing Learn: Description

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the correction values for the energizing time of each cylinder.

A correction value for the energizing time is learned for each cylinder at two different rail pressure operating points. The energizing time of the pilot injection is adapted at two calibrated rail pressure points. The Fuel Injector Timing Learn must be performed anytime an Injector Timing or Injector Exceeded Learning Limit DTC is cleared and is being revaluated.
