WARNING: Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby. WARNING: Refer to Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement . Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
1	Fuel Pressure Regulator CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure After the replacement of the fuel pressure regulator, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset/learn function. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup (LUZ) . Tighten 70 N.m (52 lb ft)

Disconnect the wiring harness plug.

Procedure
After the replacement of the fuel pressure regulator, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset/learn function. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup (LUZ) .
Tighten
70 N.m (52 lb ft)
