Installation Procedure
- Install the oil pump flow control solenoid valve (3) along with a NEW seal ring (4) to the oil pump (5).
- Install the oil pump flow control solenoid valve bolt (2) and tighten to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
- Connect the oil pump flow control solenoid valve wiring harness plug (1) to the oil pump flow control solenoid valve.
- Remove the oil drip pan under the engine.
- Install the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Crankshaft Pulley Replacement .
- Install the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Check the engine oil level.
