Installation Procedure
- Carefully align and install the EBCM (1) to the BPMV.
Do not force the components together.
- Install new EBCM bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector to the EBCM.
- Install the brake modulator shield and the mounting nuts, if equipped and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the brake modulator shield mounting bolt and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
