Preliminary Procedure Remove the intermediate steering shaft upper bolt and disconnect the intermediate steering shaft from the steering column. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
1	Steering Angle Sensor Holder
2	Steering Angle Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the steering angle sensor from the bracket of steering column. After installation, center the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Centering . NOTE: The steering angle sensor should be installed in the correct orientation. If the force is needed on installing check the orientation of sensor. Incorrect installation causes that the sensor can't recognize the steering angle of vehicle normally.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the steering angle sensor from the bracket of steering column.
After installation, center the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Centering .

NOTE:

The steering angle sensor should be installed in the correct orientation. If the force is needed on installing check the orientation of sensor. Incorrect installation causes that the sensor can't recognize the steering angle of vehicle normally.
