Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery current sensor (2) onto the battery negative cable (1) as shown.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the battery negative cable (2) to the frame rail and tighten the battery negative ground cable fastener (3) to 9 (80 lb in).
  3. Connect the body harness connector (1) to the battery current sensor (2).
  4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  6. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
