Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front lower control arm (3) on the vehicle.
  2. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Install
  3. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1) - Install and hand tighten

  5. Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (2) - Install
  6. Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (1) - Install and hand tighten

  8. Steering Knuckle Bolt (2) - Install
  9. Steering Knuckle Nut (1) - Install

    Tighten

    1. First Pass: 37 N.m (27 lb ft)
    2. Second Pass: Loosen 120 degrees
    3. Third Pass: 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
    4. Final Pass: (30-45 degrees)

  11. Support the front lower control arm with a hydraulic jack and lift the control arm until the previously recorded measurement (p) is achieved.

  13. Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (1) - Tighten

    Tighten

    1. First Pass: 115 N.m (85 lb ft)
    2. Second Pass: Loosen 720 degrees
    3. Third Pass: 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
    4. Final Pass: (90-105 degrees)

  15. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Tighten

    Tighten

    1. First Pass: 80 N.m (59 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: (60-75 degrees)
  16. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  17. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
