Installation Procedure

Install the engine control module bracket to the engine control module (1) in arrow direction until the 2 retainers (2) audible engage.

Install the engine control module bracket (2) to the engine control module insulator (1) in arrow direction until the retainer audible engage.

Install the engine control module (1).

Slide the engine control module into the bracket (2) until its audible engage.
Connect the 2 wiring harness plugs (1) to the engine control module and lock them.

CAUTION: In order to prevent any possible electrostatic discharge damage to the ECM, do not touch the connector pins.
Install the 2 wiring harness clips (2) to the bracket.
Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Program the engine control module, if required. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup (LUZ) .
Turn OFF the ignition for at least 5 seconds after the programming event is complete.
