Installation Procedure
- Without start/stop system use the following steps:
- Battery Current Sensor (2)» Install
- Install the battery negative cable terminal cover (1).
- Battery Negative Cable Clip (1)» Install [2x]
- Battery Current Sensor Connector (2)» Connect
- Install body extension current sensor wiring harness to battery negative cable bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . - Connect the battery negative pole clamp (1).
- Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut (2) to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
- With start/stop system use the following steps:
- Battery Negative Cable Clip (1)» Install [2x]
- Battery Negative Cable (3)» Install
NOTE: Use a counterholder to prevent the battery sensor from damage.
- Install a open-end spanner (1) to counter-hold the battery sensor as shown in the graphic.
- Install the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
- Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection » Connect
- Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
- Close the right rear door.
- Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support Replacement » Install
- Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement » Install
- Close the rear compartment lid.
- Ignition» On / Vehicle» In Service Mode & Engine» Off
- Program the volatile memory. Refer to Volatile Memory Programming
- Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
