Installation Procedure

Loosely install the battery sensor (1) carefully.

NOTE: Do not tighten the battery sensor pole nut (2).
Battery Negative Cable (3)» Install

NOTE: Use a counterholder to prevent damage at the battery sensor.
Install a open-end spanner (1) counterhold up the battery sensor as shown in the graphic.
Install and tighten the battery negative cable nut (2) to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Connect the wiring harness plug (1) to the battery sensor.

Tighten the battery negative pole nut (2) to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
Close the right rear door.

Close the rear compartment lid.
Ignition» On / Vehicle» In Service Mode & Engine» Off
Program the volatile memory. Refer to Volatile Memory Programming .
Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
