Initialization/Teach Procedure/First Time Installation For a New Drive Assembly:

"Teach" refers to the sunroof system's learning a baseline profile for the system. This is almost always done following an initialization.

1. Press/hold on the Sunroof Close button until the sunroof close/open cycle complete (5 Sec - 15 Sec) to activate the Initialization Procedure (Teach).
2. And keep holding the Sunroof switch until the Initialization Procedure is complete (Initialization start).
3. Press the sunroof Open switch and once the sunroof open to vent, the procedure is complete.
4. When Hard stop is encountered Sunroof / Sunshade will move towards open position.
5. When Sunroof / Sunshade reaches close position it will automatically stop.
6. Now the Normalization procedure is complete.
