Installation Procedure

Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1) through the bracket and to the brake pedal position sensor (2)..

NOTE: Align the brake pedal position sensor pin to the brake pedal bracket.
Tighten the brake pedal position sensor bolt to 3 N.m (27 lb in)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the brake pedal position sensor and bracket assembly to the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.

Install the brake pedal position sensor bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
Install the intermediate steering shaft (1). Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .

Install the instrument panel lower reinforcement bracket. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Reinforcement Bracket Replacement .
Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
