Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Drive Motor Power Inverter Module

  1. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module (1)
  2. Fig 2: Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bolts And Nut

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Nut (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  6. Install the Drive Motor Generator Control Module Cooling Outlet Hose (3) and Engage the Clamp (1)
  7. Install the Drive Motor Generator Control Module Radiator Outlet Hose (2) and Engage the Clamp (1)

  9. Clean all of the gasket surfaces.
  10. Install NEW Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable Seal (6)
  11. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (5)
  12. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  13. Tighten Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable Bolts (4) (Qty: 3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  14. Install NEW Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable Cover Seal (3)
  15. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable Cover (2)
  16. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable Cover Nuts (1) (Qty: 2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  18. Install Engine Wiring Harness Connector (2).
  19. Lock the handle (1) into lock position.

  21. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield (3)
  22. Install Ground Cable (4)
  23. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield Bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  24. Install Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield Bolt (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

  26. Install Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (2) @ Accessory DC Power Control Module (3)
  27. Install Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) @ Accessory DC Power Control Module (3) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  28. Install High Voltage Battery Control Wiring Junction Block. Refer to High Voltage Battery Control Wiring Junction Block Replacement (With quick charge) High Voltage Battery Control Wiring Junction Block Replacement (Without quick charge) 
  29. Install Radiator Surge Tank Support Bracket (RESS). Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Support Bracket Replacement (Radiator)Radiator Surge Tank Support Bracket Replacement (Heater)Radiator Surge Tank Support Bracket Replacement (RESS)
  30. Fill the drive motor generator power inverter module cooling system. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling
  31. Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
  32. Program the Drive Motor Power Inverter Module. Refer to Control Module References
