Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Engine Control Module And Bracket Nuts

  1. Using a flat bladed tool, release the ECM bracket retainer. Slide the ECM and bracket assembly to the battery tray.
  2. Install Engine Control Module (2)
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Install and tighten Engine Control Module Bracket Nuts (1) (Qty: 4) to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in)

  4. Connect Engine Control Module Electrical Connectors (1) (Qty: 3)
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  6. If replacing the engine control module, reprogram the module. Refer to Control Module References
