Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.

  1. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
  2. Thoroughly clean the electronic brake control module (EBCM) to brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) area of any accumulated dirt and debris.
  3. Remove Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement
  4. Disconnect the EBCM electrical connector.

  5. Remove Electronic Brake Control Module Bolts (1) (Qty: 4)

    NOTE:

    Do NOT pry the components apart.

  6. Remove Electronic Brake Control Module (1)
