Installation Procedure

  1. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly (1)
    2. Fig 2: Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nuts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install and tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nuts (1) (Qty: 3) to 7 N.m (62 lb in)

  3. Install and tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Fitting (1) to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

  4. Install and tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Fitting (1) to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

  5. Install and tighten Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  6. Install and tighten Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  7. Install and tighten Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  8. Install and tighten Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  9. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  10. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed 
  11. Install Plenum Front Panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement
  12. Program the EBCM. Refer to Control Module References
