Removal Procedure
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect
- Drive Belt Replacement
- Remove

- Low-pressure Flexible Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove

- Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
- Remove

- Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
- Nut (2) @ B-Terminal - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (3) @ B-Terminal - Remove
- Generator Bolt (5, 6) - Loosen [2x]
- Pull upper generator bolt out enough to clear the thermostat housing. Then rotate generator (4) forward in vehicle and remove bolt.
- Pull out the lower generator bolt until the bolt head is in contact with the side member.
- Remove the generator (4) together with the lower bolt by pulling it forward and clearing the generator bracket bolt cutout.
