Installation Procedure

  1. Install Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) @ Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket (2) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  3. Install and tighten Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) @ Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket (2) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
  4. Connect the electrical connector.

  5. Install Instrument Panel Compartment (2)
  6. Connect the electrical connector.
  7. Install the 5 instrument panel compartment bolts (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  8. Install Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right (2)

  9. Install Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2)
  10. Connect the electrical connector.
  11. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nuts (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  12. Install Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (3)
  13. Install Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainers (2) (Qty: 4)
  14. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Bolt (1) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  15. Install the left and right instrument panel fuse block access cover frame (1).

  16. Install the left and right front floor console extension panel (3).
  17. Install Front Floor Console Extension Panel Retainer (2) (Qty: 5)
  18. Install and tighten Front Floor Console Extension Panel Fastener (1) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
