Component Testing

Forward Collision Alert Switch

Static Test

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.
  2. Test for 6.1k - 7.5k Ω between the control terminal 12 and the signal circuit terminal 10.
    • If not between 6.1k - 7.5k Ω 

      Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.

    • If between 6.1k - 7.5k Ω 
  3. Test for 1.6k - 2.1k Ω between the control terminal 12 and the signal circuit terminal 10 while pressing the switch.
    • If not between 1.6k - 2.1k Ω 

      Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.

    • If between 1.6k - 2.1k Ω 
  4. All OK.
