Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Negative Cable Terminal Cover And Battery Current Sensor

  1. Install Battery Current Sensor (2)
  2. Install the battery negative cable terminal cover (1).

  3. Install Battery Negative Cable Clip (1)
  4. Connect Battery Current Sensor Connector (2)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install body extension current sensor wiring harness to battery negative cable bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Connect the battery negative pole clamp (1).
  7. Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut (2) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
  8. Connect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  9. Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
  10. Close the right rear door.
  11. Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support Replacement
  12. Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Notchback)Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Hatchback)
  13. Close the rear compartment lid.
  14. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
  15. Program the volatile memory. Volatile Memory Programming
  16. Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
