Installation Procedure

  1. O-Ring NEW

  2. Remove Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module
  3. Install Fuel Sender Retainer - use CH 45722  Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench

  4. Connect { If equipped }Auxiliary Fuel Feed and Return Pipe - Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  5. Connect Fuel Feed Pipe - Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  6. Connect Fuel Return Pipe Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  7. Install Fuel Tank Filler Vent Hose
  8. Fuel Tank Filler Vent Hose Clamp and tighten 3 N.m. (27 lb in)
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Install Fuel Tank Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement
