Communication Interface Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel insulator panel - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
2. Remove the front side door sill garnish molding - right side. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement (Left Side)Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement (Right Side) .
3. Remove the communication interface module battery. Refer to Communication Interface Module Battery Replacement .
4. Remove the fasteners for the communication interface module bracket. Refer to Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement  and reposition the bracket for module removal.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2. Slide the module from the bracket tabs to remove.
3. For programming and set up, refer to Control Module References .
