Installation Procedure
- NOTE:
The EN-51146 - 2 - 5 calibrations tools must be installed.
Coat the NEW O-Ring seal (3) with a bit NEW engine oil.
- O-Ring(1)@Fuel Injector(2) - Install
Fuel Injector(3)@Fuel Injection Fuel Rail(1) - Install[4x]
- Apply thread lock agent to 8 NEW fuel injector bolts. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
- Install 8 NEW fuel injector bolts to the fuel injectors (3) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
- Connect the 4 fuel injector wiring harness plugs (2).
- Install the fuel injector rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Removal and Installation .
NOTE:
Do NOT reuse old bolts..
