1. WARNING:

   Refer to Diesel/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

   WARNING:

   Refer to Relieving Fuel Pressure Warning .

   Fuel Feed Front Pipe(2)@Fuel Pump(1) - Remove

2. Install the CH-42982  gauge adapter (2) to the fuel pump (4) and fuel feed front pipe (3).

3. Install the EN-34730-91  tester (1) to the CH-42982  gauge adapter.
4. Start the engine.
5. Bleed the pressure tester at idling speed.
6. Collect the exiting fuel in a suitable container.
7. Read the fuel pressure from the pressure gauge.

   Nominal value: 3.8 - 4.2 bar (380 - 420 kPa)

8. Stop the engine.
9. Release fuel pressure at fuel pressure tester.

   Collect escaping fuel in a suitable container.

10. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Caution .

    Disconnect the EN-34730-91  tester from the CH-42982  gauge adapter.

11. Remove the CH-42982  gauge adapter (2) from the fuel pump (4) and fuel feed front pipe (3).

12. Fuel Feed Front Pipe(2)@Fuel Pump(1) - Install
