Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly (1). Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (4WD, Without ZR2)Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (2WD, Without ZR2)Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (4WD, With ZR2) .
Remove the front brake shield (1).
