Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify that the SIM card present is correct for the original unit and has not been swapped from another telematics communication interface control module.
  2. Ignition ON, use the scan tool to request DTCs. Verify that DTC B1021 is set as current.
    • If DTC B1021 is history, clear the DTC.
    • If DTC B1021 is current replace the telematics communication interface control module.
